I have realized in talking to my patients and their families that many are unaware that we are still at the stage of pro­posals for changes and nothing is definite. None-the-less, I want now to address two proposed changes that I think will have much impact on my practice. One proposal would eliminate Asperger’s Disorder as a subtype of Autistic Spectrum Disorders and the other is the introduction of a new category titled: Temper Dysregulation Disorder With Dysphoria.
